The Ned-Rig has its name from the American Ned Kehde. When fishing with this technique, the head plays a major role. Its mushroom shape ensures that the drifting rubber bait trembles so seductively over the bottom, tilts ever so slightly and sways back up again. Tungsten jigs therefore turn out smaller than conventional lead heads at identical weight. In addition, Tungsten is environmentally friendly.
