  Shimano’s legendary prowess in DC technology continues with the addition of the all-new Curado DC 201, an expansion to the tournament-proven Curado family of low-profile reels. The Curado DC 201 provides anglers up to 40% more line capacity for added versatility and performance using a wide range of baits and techniques, especially those looking to leverage heavier line, larger lures or maximize casting performance. The I-DC4 unit provides anglers with four distinct settings to control how much braking the DC technology applies to the spool during the cast for ultimate control while minimizing backlashes when long-bombing casts or fishing in windy conditions. Fish smarter and leverage Shimano’s premium DC technology within the all-new Curado 201 DC.

• Using the external dial, 3 additional modes can be easily set to the totally free mode: 1 for braid or mono, 2 for fluorocarbon and 3 for difficult conditions (such as casting with bulky lures against a strong wind). Once activated, the micro-computer makes nano-second adjustments to the spool rotation speed during casting, preventing wigs, maximizing casting performance and promoting focused and fun fishing.
